MOUNTAIN MODERN

The rural neighborhood in which Durango Valley View resides is reached via paved roads and is accessible year-round.  Outdoor parking for multiple vehicles is located on the flat, gravel driveway next to the home.  There is a neighboring home to the south, however, nearby homes are located further away across the road offering a reasonable level of privacy in this easy-to-reach residence.

Enjoyment of Durango Valley View begins when entering the front door, into the open floor plan living room, dining room and kitchen.  Comfort and convenience in the living room includes a large screen smart TV with cable service, plus a gas fireplace.

The well-appointed kitchen is open to the living room and dining room, offering ease of use, whether for morning coffee or at mealtime, with kitchen counter dining in addition to the six place-setting dining table.

The ground-level main floor also features the second bedroom, with queen size bed, a 40” Roku TV with streaming service and access to the backyard patio.  A full bath can be found between the living room and bedroom, and the laundry room with full-size washer and dryer is located off this hallway nearby.

On the upper level is the primary bedroom, with king size bed, wall-mounted 55” Roku TV with streaming service and spacious sitting area.  The primary bath, with dual vanities and large walk-in shower, is accessed either directly from the bedroom or the adjacent hallway.

The upper level also features a roomy den with a queen size sleeper sofa. The den is warm and cozy and is a private area that is separate from the rest of the home’s living space. It also features a sleek office desk for those working on the road.  Just off the den is a covered deck, with beautiful views of the red cliffs on the opposite side of the valley and expansive views to the north and south.

The oversized garage features a Level 2 EV fast charger for those arriving in electric vehicles. It charges at a rate of approximately 30 miles per hour and is available for guests to use free of charge.

Views of the mountains surrounding the Animas Valley can be seen from within and from outside the home. The famous Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad aka the “Durango Train” passes in the distance on a daily basis.
