Durango Mountain Resort (1-800-525-0892)
Durango Mountain Resort is in southwest Colorado, 26 miles north of Durango. Durango has it's own airport and is located 350 miles from Denver, CO. It is near many of Colorado 's most popular attractions such as the Durango-Silverton train ride, ancient Indian ruins at Mesa Verde National Park, Telluride, the historic mining towns of Silverton and Ouray, gambling at nearby Sky Ute Casino and some of the state's most scenic drives.
Durango is a world-famous tourist destination with many first-class services available. It's a historic mining town with with a colorful history, and many of its charming Victorian buildings have been preserved. Durango Mountain is not a mega ski resort, but it offers excellent skiing and facilities at reasonable rates. The view from the Legends summit is considered one of the best in Colorado, with several 14,000-foot mountains visible.
The ski area has 75 trails and nearly 750 acres (26% advanced, 51% intermediate, 23% beginner). The highest lift goes to 10,820 feet and the longest run is two miles. Snowboarding and Nordic skiing are available. Cross country at Mesa Verde is unique and popular. Child care and children's lessons are also available.

If You're Flying to Durango
The Durango-La Plata County Airport (DRO) is served by up to 15 daily non-stop arrivals on a year-round schedule, including direct seasonal service from Houston on Continental Express, Denver on United, and Phoenix on America West. Because the airport is located just south of Durango, flights are rarely affected by mountain weather, unlike other mountain resort airports.
Need a Car? Dollar Car Rental, National Car Rental Avis and Hertz Car Rental are available at the Durango La Plata County Airport.
Cascade Village Amenities
Cascade Village offers many wonderful amenities including an indoor heated pool (10am-10pm), outdoor jacuzzi, weight room, fireplace, volleyball courts, skating/fishing pond, game room, gift shop (3-10pm daily, 8-11am weekends).
